Look to the skies as Great American Kites & Events comes to Heartwood Preserve. Massive, colorful kites will fill the sky with larger-than-life designs. There will be kite flying lessons, kites for sale, kite-making crafts, music, food trucks and more. A team member from Great American Kites & Events will be on hand for interviews.
Tandem Bike Ride – Coffee Ride to Roast Coffee
Join Outlook Nebraska for the final Tandem Bike Ride of 2025 — a community ride designed for visually impaired and blind individuals, their friends, and family.
Starting at Outlook Nebraska, riders will travel along the Keystone Trail to Roast Coffee for a warm drink and good company before looping back. It’s the perfect way to close out the biking season with connection, fresh air, and fun.
Heartwood Fall Fest
This two-day, family-friendly festival brings all the autumn fun in one place. Enjoy complimentary pumpkins and a decorating station, petting zoo and mini horse rides, 9-hole mini golf, live music, food trucks and fall-themed carnival games. Champion snow sculptor and international competitor Matt Seeley with Team Nebraska Snow Sculpting will be on hand to carve giant display pumpkins for photo ops. Matt will be available for interviews.
