Making new friends as an adult is not always easy, especially when busy schedules and everyday routines make it harder to meet new people. The Anti-Loneliness Club: Bellevue offers a simple way to change that by bringing a small group of strangers together for dinner and conversation.
Hosted by Ermantourage Sports, the event is designed for people who want to meet others in the Bellevue area in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Each gathering typically brings together four to six people, creating a small enough group for everyone to take part in the conversation and get to know one another.
After registering, attendees will receive an introductory message and a short questionnaire about their age, hobbies and interests. Those responses help the organizers coordinate the group and make a reservation at the restaurant selected for that week. The exact restaurant may change for each gathering and will be communicated directly to registered attendees.
There is no complicated networking format or app involved. The idea is simply to bring people together around a table, share a meal and create an opportunity for genuine, face-to-face connection while also supporting locally owned restaurants.
Registration is $9.85 and covers participation in the gathering. Food and drinks are purchased separately by each attendee and are not included in the ticket price. Because the event is intentionally kept small, attendees may be asked to join another scheduled dinner if a particular date does not receive the minimum number of registrations.
The specific restaurant location will be shared with participants after registration.
