Interested in getting more involved in the Omaha community? The Board Mixer: Connecting Young Professionals with Non-Profit Boards gives young professionals a chance to meet local nonprofit leaders and learn more about serving on a board.

The event brings together nonprofit organizations looking for new board members and young professionals interested in giving their time, skills and experience to causes they care about. Attendees can speak directly with nonprofit representatives, learn about their work and find out what serving on a board could involve.

It’s also a good opportunity to meet other young professionals, expand your network and explore different ways to become more involved in the community. You don’t need previous board experience to attend.

Admission is free for Greater Omaha Chamber members and $15 for non-members.

Parking is available in Lot E, although space may be limited. If the lot reaches capacity, attendees may be directed to another nearby parking area at no cost.
