Glide into the holiday season as Winterland Ice Skating returns to Heartwood Preserve for another season of outdoor winter fun.

Heartwood’s outdoor rink will reopen surrounded by festive decorations and seasonal music, creating a welcoming place for friends and families to enjoy time together on the ice. Whether you are an experienced skater or stepping onto the rink for the first time, Opening Day offers a chance to be among the first visitors of the season.

Skating, skate rentals and skating aides are free for everyone, making Winterland an accessible way to enjoy one of the season’s classic activities without needing to bring your own equipment. Reservations are required for skating sessions.

Reservations for the 2026–27 season are not yet open, so visitors should check the Heartwood website for updates and booking availability.
