Take a seat and experience the power of a good story at the Nebraska Storytelling Festival, returning for its fifth annual celebration in Lincoln.
The festival brings together a diverse group of storytellers to share true, personal experiences live on stage. This year’s stories explore a wide range of moments and perspectives, from caring for a father with dementia and navigating the absurdities of pregnancy to searching for the grave of a beloved grandfather and reflecting on experiences that have shaped people’s lives.
Each storyteller brings a different voice and point of view, creating an evening filled with moments that may be funny, moving, surprising or deeply personal. The event is designed to celebrate the ways storytelling can help people connect through shared experiences while giving audiences a chance to hear stories they may not encounter anywhere else.
The festival is open to all ages and runs for approximately two hours. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with storytelling beginning at 7:00 PM.
Tickets are $12.51.
