Wrap up the weekend with an afternoon of high-flying fun at the Heartwood Kite Festival at Heartwood Preserve.
The second annual festival brings Great American Kites & Events to Omaha for a colorful display featuring some of North America’s largest show kites. Throughout the afternoon, the sky will become the main attraction as oversized kites create a constantly changing display of color and motion above Heartwood Park.
Guests can watch the professional flyers in action, learn kite-flying techniques, bring their own kite or purchase one at the event and take part themselves. Festival food and family activities will also be available for visitors who want to make a full afternoon of it.
