Before You Ask for Money: Build Your Startup Funding Plan is a free SCORE webinar designed to help new and aspiring business owners build a more realistic picture of their startup finances.

Led by small-business advisor Asbury Lockett, the session will walk through how to estimate startup costs, plan for the cash needed to reach break-even and account for things that are easy to overlook, such as personal financial needs, unexpected delays and contingency reserves.

Attendees will also learn how to work out how much personal capital they can contribute, identify any remaining funding gap and consider which funding sources may be most suitable for their business.

A practical worksheet will be provided to help participants apply what they learn and start building their own startup funding plan.
