Understanding who your customers are is an important part of building a successful restaurant or food service business. This collaborative workshop is designed to help restaurant professionals better understand the people they want to reach and how that knowledge can guide marketing, menu decisions and overall business strategy.
Participants will work alongside peers and marketing experts to explore market demographics, dining behaviors and consumer trends. The session will focus on how to use that information to build detailed guest personas and identify the customers most likely to be a strong fit for a restaurant’s concept.
The workshop is part of the Restaurant Business Essentials series, a partnership between the Greater Omaha Chamber, Metropolitan Community College’s Business Development team and MCC’s Institute for the Culinary Arts. The series gives restaurant owners, managers and aspiring restaurateurs an opportunity to learn practical business skills while connecting with Omaha’s restaurant and hospitality community.
The cost to attend is $19.
