REACH Advanced Construction Academy

  • Greater Omaha Chamber 808 Conagra Drive Omaha, Nebraska, 68102 United States (map)

The REACH Advanced Construction Academy is built for construction business owners, subcontractors, and trade professionals who are past the startup stage and ready for what comes next.

This 10-week, practitioner-focused program supports small and emerging construction businesses that have been actively operating for at least two years and have established industry experience. Participants will gain advanced education, practical tools, and peer learning designed to strengthen internal systems, improve project execution, pursue larger contracts, and grow with confidence.

The Academy is intentionally structured to help business owners move from working in the business to working on the business. Through real-world construction scenarios and applied learning, participants will explore how critical business functions connect across estimating, bidding, project management, contracts, and leadership.

Sessions are led by experienced industry professionals and emphasize practical application, discussion, and peer engagement. Participants will leave with stronger operational practices, sharper decision-making skills, and a clearer roadmap for long-term success in the construction industry.

Course topics include legal aspects of contracts and construction law, blueprint reading and plan interpretation, project scheduling, bid management, construction project management, strategic pricing, estimating, and takeoffs.
