Designed for those preparing to take the ICC General Building Contractor Class A exam required for licensing in Omaha, Nebraska, this in-person course helps participants understand the exam format, navigate approved code books efficiently, and build confidence for an open-book testing environment.
This is not a comprehensive building code class. Instruction centers on exam structure, code navigation, and practical strategies using the 2018 International Building Code and the 2018 International Residential Code.
Participants will learn how the ICC Class A exam is structured and administered, how to locate key information within the code books, which chapters and tables are most frequently referenced, common question formats, time management techniques, and mistakes to avoid on exam day.
