Women With Voices Coffee Brings Together Local Leaders for Conversation and Connection
A small group of women gathered last Monday morning at The Winery & Deli for a conversation centered on leadership, community, and personal growth as part of the Women With Voices Coffee Connections.
The event featured local business and community leaders, including Sandy Spady (the event organizer), real estate guru Van Deeb, Lozafina CEOJosefina Loza, salon owner Shannon Bingham, and communications professional Kristi Andersen. Approximately a dozen attendees participated in the session, many of whom were being introduced to the Women With Voices community for the first time.
Women With Voices is a professional and personal development network that creates space for women to connect, share experiences, and build supportive relationships across industries. Events are intentionally structured to encourage open dialogue rather than formal presentations, allowing participants to engage in more candid and meaningful conversations.
Loza said the format creates an environment where participants feel more comfortable showing up authentically.
“These spaces matter because they allow people to be real about where they are in their journey,” Loza said. “It’s not about having everything figured out. It’s about being willing to have the conversation.”
In addition to speaking at the event, Loza also serves as a coach in the PowerUp Mastermind, a program led by Spady that brings together a cohort of women seeking guidance in leadership, business development, and personal growth. The program features multiple coaches who provide expertise in areas ranging from branding and messaging to mindset and strategy.
Loza’s sessions within PowerUp focus on helping participants clarify their personal and professional narratives, with an emphasis on authenticity and visibility.
For attendees, the event provided a glimpse into a broader community built on connection and support.
