LuminaNorth Group’s Avil Jackson Named a 2026 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska Honoree

The LuminaNorth Group founder is being recognized for a career dedicated to helping people and organizations navigate change with clarity and purpose.

Lozafina is overjoyed that its client LuminaNorth Group’s founder Avil Jackson has been named a 2026 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska honoree.

Presented by the BLOC, the 50 Over 50 Nebraska Awards recognize accomplished Nebraskans whose leadership, professional achievements, and continued service are creating meaningful change throughout the state.

For more than 30 years, Avil has led organizational change across industries, helping leaders and teams prepare for change, align their priorities, and move forward with greater clarity.

As the founder and principal organizational change advisor of LuminaNorth Group, Avil works with organizations facing growth, leadership transitions, and complex workplace challenges. Her approach combines strategic guidance with thoughtful inquiry, giving leaders the space to find their own insights while also offering the experience and frameworks needed to make informed decisions.

Avil is a Certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner, Certified Professional in Talent Development, Certified Scrum Master, and Agile Practitioner. She is also a member of the Association of Change Management Professionals, International Association of Strategy Professionals, and International Coaching Federation.

Her leadership philosophy was shaped through a career path that spans both the boardroom and the professional kitchen.

In the middle of her organizational leadership career, Avil spent a decade working in fine dining kitchens, including experience at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills and Escoffier. There, she learned how preparation, discipline, and clear systems help teams perform under pressure.

That experience became the foundation for LuminaNorth Group’s Mise en Place Change Method™. Inspired by the culinary principle of putting everything in its place before the work begins, the method helps organizations pause, create clarity, align priorities, and prepare their people before taking action.

Avil brings that same people-centered approach to every engagement. She believes successful change does not begin with a new process or system. It begins by preparing the people responsible for bringing that change to life.

Before founding LuminaNorth Group, Avil served as a vice president of people and culture, leading enterprise-level change and helping organizations strengthen their leadership, workplace culture, and ability to adapt.

Avil will be honored alongside the other 2026 recipients during the 50 Over 50 Nebraska Awards celebration on Nov. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown.

Congratulations, Avil, on this well-deserved recognition!
