Don’t Fence Me In: Major Mary and the Karen Refugees

Kick off the month with a moving documentary about 70-year-old freedom fighter Major Mary On and the ongoing struggle for survival and self-determination of the Karen people. The History of Asian Americans in the Midwest

Live Performance: Lion Dance and Kung Fu

Celebrate Vietnamese culture through an energetic Lion Dance and Kung Fu demonstration. This live performance will be a feast of movement, music, and tradition. Bring your family, it’s an unforgettable cultural experience for all ages.
