Join the Omaha Public Library at the Willa Cather Branch on Saturday, June 28 for a special program featuring Nebraska textile artist Mary Zicafoose.
Zicafoose is a textile artist, weaver, and teacher who specializes in ikat, a technique in which threads are wrapped, tied, and resist-dyed before being woven. Her works are part of private and public collections, including 16 embassies around the world as part of the U.S. Art in Embassies program.
During the program, Zicafoose will discuss her work, and share stories about her life and travels.
This is a free event for adults. Learn more about Mary Zicafoose here.
