Nebraska APEX Accelerator – Understanding FAR Requirements

Federal contracting comes with its own language, systems and rules. This one-hour webinar from the Nebraska APEX Accelerator and National APEX Accelerator Alliance is designed to make those requirements easier to understand.

Experts from the Defense Contract Audit Agency will walk participants through the Federal Acquisition Regulation, commonly known as FAR, and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, or DFARS. These regulations help govern how federal agencies acquire supplies and services and play an important role in contractor compliance.

Participants will learn how the FAR system is structured, who is required to comply and which requirements commonly appear in government contracts. The session will also explore how understanding federal acquisition regulations can help businesses reduce compliance risk and compete more strategically in the federal marketplace.
