Lozafina Rejoins The Bloc’s 50 Over 50 Nebraska Awards as Communications Partner

Lozafina is proud to announce its continued partnership with The Bloc for the 2025 50 Over 50 Nebraska Awards, a prestigious celebration that the nonprofit started to honor Nebraskans aged 50 and older who are shaping the state through leadership, innovation, service, and impact.

Set to take place on Oct. 25, 2025, at the Embassy Suites Downtown Omaha, this year’s awards promise to spotlight a powerful group of honorees across five distinct categories:

  • Nonprofit – Recognizing individuals who strengthen the nonprofit sector and educational institutions through their leadership and service.

  • Innovation – Celebrating forward-thinkers who challenge the norm and introduce groundbreaking ideas that drive change.

  • Business – Honoring entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders growing Nebraska’s economy.

  • Community – Highlighting residents committed to volunteerism, civic leadership, and impactful grassroots movements.

  • Healthcare – Paying tribute to the heroes working to save lives and promote wellness across our communities.

“We are thrilled to return as a proud partner of The Bloc’s 50 Over 50 NE Awards,” said Josefina Loza, CEO of Lozafina. “This event proves that experience and wisdom are invaluable tools for progress. The awards serve as a platform to honor the resilience, ingenuity, and dedication of Nebraskans who continue to uplift their communities and industries well beyond midlife.”

Lozafina has been a proud sponsor of The Bloc’s 50 Over 50 NE Awards nearly every year since its inception.

“We deeply believe in honoring the legacy, leadership, and lived experiences of those who have paved the way,” Loza said. “Celebrating these changemakers aligns with our mission to amplify impact through powerful storytelling.”
