Lozafina client Sybil Jackson Named a 2026 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska Honoree
The founder of A Sybilized Conversation is being recognized for more than 30 years of service, leadership, and advocacy in the human-services and mental-health fields.
Lozafina client A Sybilized Conversation is proud to announce that founder Sybil Jackson, LIMHP, PLADC, has been named a 2026 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska honoree.
Presented by Community BLOC, the 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska recognize accomplished Nebraskans whose leadership, professional achievements, and continued service are creating a lasting impact throughout the state.
For more than 30 years, Sybil has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families feel seen, heard, and supported.
A Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Provisional Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Sybil has built her work around creating safe, honest, and compassionate spaces for people to talk about mental health, relationships, personal challenges, and the experiences that shape their lives.
Through A Sybilized Conversation, she is helping make conversations about mental and emotional wellness feel more approachable. Her work reminds people that therapy is not only for moments of crisis. It can also provide an opportunity to better understand ourselves, strengthen relationships, develop healthier coping tools, and move through life with greater clarity.
Sybil’s experience extends across the human-services field and includes counseling, behavioral support, education, and advocacy. Her professional work has also included conducting functional behavioral assessments and providing sex education for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Throughout her career, Sybil has remained committed to meeting people where they are without judgment. Her approach is calm, supportive, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to conversations that promote healing, understanding, and personal growth.
A Sybilized Conversation reflects that philosophy. It creates space for meaningful discussions about subjects that are often misunderstood, stigmatized, or left unspoken. By encouraging people to ask questions and talk openly, Sybil is helping remove barriers that can prevent individuals from seeking support.
Her impact can be found not only in the services she provides, but also in the trust she has built with clients, families, professionals, and community members throughout her career.
The 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska recognition celebrates the decades of knowledge and experience Sybil brings to her work, as well as the difference she continues to make today.
Sybil will be honored alongside the other 2026 recipients during the 50 Over 50 Awards Nebraska celebration on Nov. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown.
