Inclusive Communities Now Accepting Volunteers, Sponsors for 2026 Youth Impact Summit

Inclusive Communities is now welcoming volunteers and sponsors for the 2026 Youth Impact Summit, a powerful youth-centered leadership event designed to bring together high school students from across Omaha and Lincoln for a day of connection, courage, and growth.

Set for Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Milo Bail Student Center, the summit will create space for young people to engage in honest conversations about mental health, identity, relationships, leadership, and navigating today’s world. The annual event is expected to welcome more than 150 students in grades 9–12, with a strong focus on youth from diverse and historically underrepresented communities.

The Youth Impact Summit is hosted by Inclusive Communities, a longstanding Omaha-based nonprofit committed to confronting prejudice, bigotry, and discrimination through education, dialogue, and leadership development.

Applications are open through April 30 for the Youth Summit Planning Committee.

Students currently in 8th grade through senior year of high school in the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas are invited to apply and help shape this year’s summit experience. The Planning Committee plays a vital role in guiding the themes, conversations, and overall direction of the summit, ensuring it reflects the voices and experiences of youth in our community.

Organizers say sponsorship support is essential to ensuring the summit remains accessible, impactful, and meaningful for every student in attendance. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $15,000, helping fund student meals, youth advisory stipends, licensed mental health professionals on-site, language interpreters, programming materials, networking platforms, speakers, and event giveaways.

Top-tier sponsors will receive logo placement on event swag and an on-site booth presence, while all sponsors receive recognition opportunities tied to their level of support.

Inclusive Communities encourages businesses, foundations, and community-minded organizations to partner early, as sponsorship opportunities are now open.
