Final Call to Register for the Must-Attend Event of the Year: 50 Over 50 Nebraska Awards Dinner

Registration is closing this week for The Bloc’s 50 Over 50 Nebraska Awards, an annual tribute to Nebraskans whose leadership and service continue to shape the state. The awards dinner is set for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, 5:30–9:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Omaha (555 S. 10th St.).

Organizers highlight the event as “more than an award, it’s a celebration of wisdom, impact, and legacy,” recognizing 50 honorees across sectors such as nonprofit, business, healthcare, innovation, and community leadership. The program is produced by The Bloc, Inc., with additional background and nomination framework published on the organization’s sites.

We’ve received calls about the upcoming event. Yes, the event website promotes seat reservations and lists the Oct. 25 program details. Some public posts have referenced an early-October registration cutoff; meanwhile, the live ticketing module currently shows sales available into mid-October. To ensure a seat, plan to register no later than Wednesday, Oct. 8.
