“The Reading Room” is the culmination of two years of investigative research on the intersection between art and organizations.

Guests can “read, rest, reflect” during the last showing of the exhibit, which asks viewers to consider how justice in the arts can be interpreted, documented and enacted.

The content was researched and organized by Alternative Currents, and members of the cohort will be at the event to present live readings. Those giving live readings include: Amanda Huckins, Maritza N. Estrada, Aspen M. Laboy, and Jewel Rodgers.

The event is free and open to the public.
