Dr. Joy DeGruy will be leading a symposium on rebuilding your personal village during the Dare to Believe Symposium.

DeGruy will share her experiences and insights on the definition of intergenerational and historical trauma, its impact on mental health, and targeted strategies for rebuilding communities.

This symposium is for behavioral health professionals, child welfare workers, human services workers, medical professionals, those interested in understanding the impact of trauma, and everyone who believes in the power of community and wants to make a difference.
