In honor of BIPOC Mental Health Month, The Wellbeing Partners has organized a free fireside chat featuring former football star, actor, and producer Spencer Paysinger.
Paysinger is a Super Bowl champion who became a writer and producer following his football career. He brought his own story to the big screen with the CW and Netflix series, “All American.” Hailing from South Central LA, Paysinger grew up with education-focused parents but was surrounded by drugs, gangs, violence and poverty. He received a scholarship to the University of Oregon and began his football career with the New York Giants, winning Super Bowl XLVI in his rookie year. He played seven seasons before retiring to pursue his dream of developing TV and film projects focused on the Black experience in America.
During the event, Paysinger will talk about his personal experiences with mental health and identity.
Doors for the event will open at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments. The program will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are free, but space is limited. Reserve your seat here.
Attendees can also purchase a VIP ticket for $50, which includes a meet-and-greet with Paysinger and a front row seat to the conversation.
