The 7th Annual Afro Fest is taking place on Sunday, August 31, at the Heartland of America Park. This all-ages event will feature:

• A Children’s and Educational Village filled with fun activities, from working with robots to going on a virtual trip to Africa!

• An African Market and Food Row showcasing African clothing, arts, crafts, jewelry, and authentic African cuisine.

• A Connectors Area featuring 10 service-based small businesses and five community partners

• Live performances by local and international acts, from traditional to modern African sounds.

General admission tickets are $32.04 (including taxes) and kids under 12 are free with a ticketed adult.

VIP tickets are available for $105.76 (with taxes) and include a special VIP entrance, prime seating near the stage, a food sampling station, the Hood Sommelier whiskey tasting experience, two drink tickets at the VIP bar and access to the after party.
