2026 Nebraska Snow Sculpting Championships: Art, Ice & Imagination

  • Heartwood Preserve Park South 145th Street Omaha, NE, 68145 United States (map)

This February, winter becomes a canvas at Heartwood Preserve Park. From February 13–15, the 2026 Nebraska Snow Sculpting Championships bring together teams from across the state to transform massive snow blocks into towering works of art.

Hosted by Heartwood Preserve and Nebraska Snow Sculpting, this state-sanctioned competition blends creativity, technique, and storytelling as sculptors compete for the title of Nebraska State Champion, and the chance to represent Nebraska at the 2027 U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Visitors are invited to stroll the park, watch sculptures take shape in real time, and vote for the People’s Choice Award. With professional sculptor demonstrations and family friendly designs, it’s a one-of-a-kind winter experience that celebrates art, community, and cold-weather creativity.
