Reading a city budget for the first time can be intimidating, but the folks at Urban Abbey and Strongly Worded Letters are here to help you.
Join other like-minded individuals for an overview of the purposed 2024 budget, and tips on how you can use your voice at the public hearing on August 8. The public hearing is held at the City Hall, 1819 Farnam Street, at 6:30 pm and is open for all Omaha residents who wish to voice concerns or share testimony over particular initiatives.
If you’re not sure how to provide testimony, the folks will be happy to answer questions and share pointers.
While this event is free and open to the public, organizers request that all attendees wear masks, preferably K95 grade, so all feel comfortable in the space.
