Papillion Days returns for the 78th year with a Family Night on Wednesday, June 11 from 4:30-8 p.m. Family Night begins with an ice cream social at 4 p.m., followed by a hot dog feed (hot dog + chips for $3). Wild Life Encounters will be presenting at 4:30 p.m., and there will be a kiddie parade at 6 p.m. A performance from the String Beans Band, finishes the night out.
On Thursday and Friday, enjoy the Market in the Park and carnival games from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a fireworks show after dark on Friday.
Saturday starts early with the Papillion Days Parade at 10 a.m. The parade will go down Washington Street. The Market and carnival open at 11 a.m., and the beer garden will open at noon. At 4 p.m., check out the Moving Vets Forward Car Show.
The final day begins at 7 a.m. with the Boy Scouts’ pancake feed. The market, carnival and beer garden open at 11 p.m. and finishing out the event is a PAC Band Performance at the SumTur Amphitheater at 8 p.m.
