Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha and Lincoln Begins Its Next Chapter with New President and CFO
Some of the best transitions aren’t about changing direction. They’re about making sure what you’ve built is ready to keep growing.
That’s what’s happening at Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha and Lincoln, where a new leadership structure is putting the next generation of leaders in place while keeping the experience, relationships, and values that have shaped the locally owned company for decades.
As part of the transition, Greg Boulay will continue serving as CEO, turning more of his attention toward Pella’s long-term strategy, growth opportunities, acquisitions, and the bigger-picture vision for where the company goes next.
Vince Boulayhas been promoted to President, taking the lead on day-to-day operations across the Omaha and Lincoln branches and continuing the company’s investment in its employees, customers, and operational excellence.
And Karmen Staples has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer, where she will oversee financial strategy while helping lead improvements in the technology, systems, and processes supporting Pella’s continued growth.
For Greg, the changes are part of something he has been intentionally working toward: building a company capable of thriving beyond any one person.
“Our goal has always been to build a company that lasts well beyond any one individual,” Greg said. “Vince and Karmen are exceptional leaders who have earned the trust of our team through their expertise, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.”
Greg has spent years growing Pella Omaha and Lincoln into one of the region’s leading window and door providers. That growth has included expanding the business, but it has also meant investing heavily in people and creating a culture where leaders have room to develop.
Vince is one of those leaders.
A Certified Public Accountant with experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and business development, Vince brings a broad business perspective to his new role as President. Before joining Pella in 2017, he built his career outside the family business, beginning in public accounting before becoming a franchise owner and operator of four retail locations in North Carolina. He later returned to Omaha and spent four years in business development at Lutz.
Since joining Pella, Vince has held leadership roles across sales, marketing, strategy, and organizational development. As President, he will oversee day-to-day operations in Omaha and Lincoln, with a continued focus on developing people, strengthening teams, and positioning the company for growth.
Now, as President, he’ll have an even greater hand in shaping the employee and customer experience.
“Pella has always been about people,” Vince said. “Our employees, customers, builders, and community partners are the reason we’ve been successful for so many years.”
That people-first philosophy is also reflected in Karmen’s promotion.
Karmen Staples brings nearly two decades of public accounting experience in audit, tax, and small business consulting to her new role as Chief Financial Officer, along with additional experience in the property management industry.
Since joining Pella, Karmen has overseen accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, internal controls, and operating procedures. Known for tackling complex challenges and finding ways to make systems work better, she has also helped streamline processes across the organization.
As CFO, Karmen will lead Pella’s financial strategy and operations while helping guide technology and business system improvements designed to support employees, customers, and the company’s continued growth.
