Maharaja Indian Cuisine Unveils Bold New Social Media Campaign to Tempt Tastebuds

At Maharaja Indian Cuisine, every dish tells a story, every cocktail is curated with care, and every seat at the table feels like coming home. If home were Indian, that is. For the past four months, this Omaha gem has been serving up its next chapter: one where tradition meets convenience, and you find it whether you’re dining in, taking out, or tapping DoorDash.
When our Lozafina team sat down with the owners of Maharaja Indian Cuisine earlier this year, the mission was to honor the roots of authentic Indian flavors while elevating the brand’s reach as a modern go-to spot for food lovers.
We knew Omaha’s picky foodies have so many choices on the market at the tips of their fingers. So, we decided to let Maharaja’s cuisine speak for itself. What they needed was — a public relations and social media strategy — a consistent narrative, strong visuals, and a strategy that made Maharaja top of mind for weekday dinners, special occasions, or that quick craving for spice and comfort.
So we rolled up our sleeves (and grabbed a few mango lassis), and began shaping a content strategy that reflects not just what Maharaja serves, but why it keeps people coming back.
Breaking Down the Social Media Strategy
Each social media post was created with a purpose, highlighting core brand pillars: flavorful food, exceptional service, inviting atmosphere, and accessibility. Take, for example, the April visuals created to showcase the dishes and the people behind and in front of the counter.
Here’s how we brought the campaign to life:
APRIL 2 - “Dinner Invite”
Visual: A table set for a royal Indian feast.
Message: “Your table is set for a feast of flavor.” This post invites the community to gather and indulge in signature curries and tandoori favorites. It’s an anchor post—positioning Maharaja as the place to celebrate good food and good company.
APRIL 10 - “Meals Made for Sharing”
Visual: Laughter, rice bowls, curries passed around the table.
Message: “The best conversations happen over a table full of delicious Indian cuisine.” This post taps into the communal aspect of dining—comfort, laughter, and second helpings.
APRIL 15 - “Our Classics, Your Favorites”
Visual: Dishes like tikka masala and perfectly steamed basmati rice.
Message: Highlighting timeless fan-favorites and sparking nostalgic cravings. It’s about grounding the brand in comfort food that never goes out of style.
APRIL 17 - “Customer Testimony”
Visual: A happy guest, warmly lit dining room.
Message: Aryle, a loyal guest, shares her heartfelt experience, praising the flavors, drinks, and above all, the hospitality. This is where the brand’s personality shines. Real voices. Real love.
APRIL 22 - “Dine In & Relax”
Visual: Cozy booths, ambient lighting, peaceful dining.
Message: Life’s busy? Let Maharaja be the relaxing escape where the food (and vibes) are always warm. The message is clear: you deserve to unwind.
APRIL 24 - “Refreshingly Sweet”
Visual: Elegant, effervescent cherry-topped drinks.
Message: One sip, and you’re in paradise. These posts are crafted to feel indulgent, sweet, and shareable. They're Instagram-worthy, and they know it.
The campaign aims to reinforce Maharaja’s versatility—you can linger over dinner with loved ones, grab takeout on your way home, or let DoorDash bring the spice to your doorstep. With accessibility at its core, we’re meeting customers where they are, without compromising flavor or experience.
Why It Works
This campaign doesn’t just advertise food. It builds a lifestyle around it. Each post is part of a larger strategy to develop brand intimacy and loyalty. We spotlight real people, real dishes, and real moments, making Maharaja not just a place to eat, but a place to feel welcome, connected, and full.
