MADE HERE: Celebrating Nebraska’s Manufacturing, Innovation and Workforce

By Itzel Davila Torres

Nebraska has a lot to be proud of, and the people and businesses driving our state’s economy are a big part of that story.

A new national television series, MADE HERE, is putting American manufacturing in the spotlight, highlighting the companies, workers and innovation behind the products and industries that keep our communities moving.

Produced by Omaha-based Match/Cut Productions, the series is coming to Nebraska with an episode featuring two well-known local companies: Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing in Lincoln and Valmont Industries in Omaha. Both companies represent the talent, innovation and hard work that continue to shape Nebraska’s manufacturing industry and contribute to its economic growth.

To celebrate the episode and the stories behind it, Match/Cut Productions is inviting Nebraska’s business community to a special MADE HERE: Nebraska Watch Party on Thursday, November 5, at The Ashton in Millwork Commons.

The evening will bring together business leaders, community members and industry supporters for an opportunity to celebrate Nebraska’s workforce, recognize local innovation and see our state represented on a national stage. Doors and networking begin at 7:30 p.m., with the screening starting at 8 p.m.

For Nebraska, manufacturing is more than an industry. It is an important part of our communities, creating opportunities, supporting families and bringing together the people whose work helps move our state forward. Showcasing these stories is a reminder of the talent and dedication that exist right here at home.

Whether you're connected to manufacturing, part of Nebraska's business community or simply proud to see local companies recognized nationally, this is an opportunity to come together and celebrate what makes Nebraska special.
