Lozafina Joins Forces with the Great Plains Black History Museum to Uplift Untold Stories
Lozafina proudly announces our newest partnership with a cultural cornerstone in our community: the Great Plains Black History Museum. Starting this month, our team will be supporting the Museum through public relations, media outreach, and full social media content creation and management.
As storytellers rooted in culture, connection, and community, this collaboration is a professional alignment and quite a personal one. The Great Plains Black History Museum has long stood as a vital institution dedicated to preserving and presenting the richness of African American history throughout the Great Plains region.
Founded in 1976 by visionary Bertha Calloway, the museum was created with a single powerful mission: To preserve, educate, and exhibit the contributions and achievements of African Americans with a special emphasis on the Midwest. For nearly five decades, it has remained a space of education, awareness, and inspiration, holding sacred the narratives too often left out of textbooks and mainstream archives.
Now under the leadership of Executive Director Eric Ewing, the Museum continues to be a staple in the community for history, hope, and heritage. Ewing shared his enthusiasm about the new partnership, saying:
“The Great Plains Black History Museum is excited to welcome Lozafina to the Museum's team as our new Public Relations and Marketing representative. We look forward to creating compelling stories and building meaningful, impactful connections as we strive to better serve the community.”
Lozafina is honored to be entrusted with amplifying the museum’s mission, from promoting historical exhibitions and community events to building greater visibility across digital and traditional platforms.
Nonprofit institutions like the Great Plains Black History Museum are often the last bastions of truth-telling, operating on limited budgets but unlimited heart and resolve. These organizations deserve the same level of attention, strategy, and storytelling that big brands receive. Their work preserves not only the past, but also the future, ensuring that young people see themselves reflected in the legacy of this land.
If you believe in this mission, you can be part of preserving history, too.
