Lozafina Featured in Business.com Amid a Defining First Quarter
By Josefina Loza
I’ve been so busy building that I almost forgot to pause and say this…
First quarter has been incredible for Lozafina.
The kind of incredible where you’re deep in the work, serving clients, building strategy, moving campaigns forward, and you don’t even realize how much ground you’ve covered until you finally come up for air.
New partnerships. Expanded scopes. Bigger rooms.
And the kind of momentum you don’t fake, you earn.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I was interviewed by Business.com for a piece on how to actually engage your audience on social media.
Now, what I appreciated about this article is that it didn’t romanticize social. It broke it down into what works, grounded in strategy:
Know your audience and where they actually are
Create content that speaks to them
Use tools like hashtags intentionally
Encourage sharing (because that’s how reach expands)
And most importantly, listen and be responsive
That last one is where I leaned in. Because I said this and I stand by it: “A platform mismatch can lead to wasted resources and minimal engagement.”
And beyond that, engagement today is about responsiveness. It’s about showing up in real time.
Because here’s what the data, and the lived experience, both tell us: Social media success isn’t measured by how often you post. It’s measured by how people respond. Likes, comments, shares, those aren’t vanity metrics. They’re signals. They tell you if your message is landing, if your audience sees themselves in your content, if what you’re putting out actually matters.
And the platforms are paying attention too.
Content that sparks real interaction gets pushed further. That’s how reach grows. That’s how something moves from a post… to a conversation.
But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough:
You can’t hack your way into meaningful engagement.
You have to understand people.
You have to respect their time.
You have to meet them where they are and speak in a way that resonates.
That’s the work.
And it’s the same philosophy we bring into every client we serve at Lozafina.
We’re not here to just “post more.”
We’re here to make sure when you do show up, it’s clear, intentional, and connected to the bigger picture.
So, yes, the first quarter has been busy.
And yes, I’m proud of the recognition, the growth, the visibility.
But more than anything, I’m proud that we’re doing the work the right way.
Strategic. Grounded. Human.
And if this is how the year is starting…
We’re just getting warmed up.
