How Lozafina Added a Sporting Touch to EPIC for Girls with Pennants: A Virtual Showcase!

We’re sharing an inside look at a delightful creation Lozafina Graphic Designer Tanner Thorngren recently whipped up for EPIC for Girls. With sports being a universal language of excitement, competition, and team spirit, we wanted to encapsulate all of that into something tangible for an event.

Enter the Pennant!

A Classic Sports Symbol – The Pennant

The idea of using pennants was inspired by their rich history in the world of sports. These triangular flags have been waved in stadiums, carried by fans, and pinned on walls for generations. They are a symbol of pride, unity, and above all, support. And who better to dedicate our pennants to than the powerful and dynamic young girls at EPIC?

Designing with Flair

We went for a bold and playful design, incorporating vibrant colors and symbols that represent various sports. From footballs to tennis racquets, the pennants were a canvas of all things sporty! And of course, the EPIC for Girls logo held a special place on each pennant, signifying the incredible community we were celebrating.

Showcasing Online

While we had hoped the pennants played their part at the event, we felt they deserved a longer life and a wider audience. Hence, our idea to showcase them online was born!

  1. Virtual Backgrounds: We transformed our pennant designs into virtual backgrounds. Whether for Zoom calls or desktop wallpapers, EPIC members and supporters can now wave their 'digital' pennants with pride.

  2. Social Media Campaign: With the hashtag #EPICPennants, we initiated a campaign encouraging girls to share their sporty moments, using our pennant as a prop or digital sticker. The response was overwhelming, with countless young sportswomen showcasing their passion.

  3. Online Gallery: Our website now hosts a dedicated space for these pennants. It’s not just a gallery of designs but also a montage of memories, featuring event highlights and behind-the-scenes fun.

The Digital Celebration Continues

The journey of creating these pennants and then seeing their transition from offline to online has been a rewarding experience for us at Lozafina Marketing and Public Relations. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with EPIC for Girls and contribute to their mission. Sport on, girls!

Until next time, keep cheering and championing your causes! 🎉🚀
